Pelham School Calendar 2021-22: First Day Of School

PeLHAM, NY — Before you know it, the 2021-22 school year will be starting. The first day of classes for the Pelham school district is Sept. 9.

Whether or not you and your children are looking forward to the new school year, you will want to write down the dates in your calendar as soon as possible.

Here is the full list of dates to know for the 2021-22 school year:

• 10/11 Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples Day

• 11/2 Superintendent's Conference Day
• 11/11 Veterans Day
• 11/24 Early releases/staging drill
• 11/25-26 Thanksgiving Recess

December

• 12/2 Parent-teacher conferences
• 12/24-31 Holiday recess

January

• 1/17 Martin Luther King Jr. Day

February

• 2/21-25 Winter recess

March

• 3/18 Parent-teacher conferences

April

• 4/11-15 Spring recess

The calendar allows for five snow days before it would be necessary to take back vacation days. If it is necessary to make up school days due to closings for inclement weather, etc., and after using the two contingency days (May 26 and May 27), the days will occur in this order: April 11, April 12, April 13, April 14.
