Pelham Schools Congratulates Forensics Speech Team

From Pelham Public Schools:

The PMHS Forensics Speech team competed at the NYCFL Service Award Tournament at Xavier High School in Manhattan. Congratulations goes to:

• Junior Saul Glist, 8th place in Varsity Extemporaneous Speaking
• Senior Kate McLaughlin, 7th place in Varsity Poetry Interpretation
• Sophomore Ben Glickman, 5th place in JV Extemporaneous Speaking
• Sophomore Henry Driesen, 2nd place in JV Extemporaneous Speaking
• Senior Alexandria Tiso, 1st place Champion in Original Oratory

The team placed an impressive 7th in the Team Sweepstakes!

Also, Tournament Director, Mr. Charles Sloat of Iona Preparatory School presented the Hall of Fame plaque to Pelham's Mr. Thomas Beck!
