
Voters in Pelham Tuesday easily adopted the district’s proposed spending plan of $70.1 million, according to unofficial results.
The school budget passed with 821 in favor and 143 opposed.
“Thank you to the community for their resounding support of our budget,” School Board President Lisa Kiernan said in a statement. “It represents a win for Pelham and for all of our students.”

Voters also elected Madeline Smith, Stephen Molineeaux and Evelyn Riedel to the Board of Education.
School Superintendent Dr. Peter Giarrizzo added, “We thank all of our Pelham voters for coming out today to vote and supporting our school budget for next year. We believe that this budget reflects the core values of Pelham and will help us make great strides in attaining the goals set forth in our Strategic Plan.”
