Pelham Schools Technology Director Michael Tromblee Resigns
Director of Technology Michael Tromblee has announced that he will resign from Pelham Public Schools effective March 10.

From Pelham Public Schools: Director of Technology Michael Tromblee has announced that he is resigning from the Pelham Public Schools effective March 10 to take a position with the New Rochelle School District.
Mr. Tromblee has served in his position for the past six years after spending five years as a social studies teacher in the Pelham School District.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my career in the Pelham Public Schools and will look back on the past 11 years with fond memories,” Mr. Tromblee said. “I extend my sincerest thanks to Pelham’s outstanding teachers, amazing students, the technology support staff, my administrative colleagues, past colleagues and supervisors, Superintendent Dr. Peter Giarrizzo, the Pelham Board of Education, and the Pelham community for their support. I have grown not only as an educator, but more importantly as a person due to their presence in my life. Furthermore, I would like to thank Dr. Steven Garcia, my current supervisor for his guidance, mentorship, and support during the most recent years where the educational technology program has experienced exponential growth.”

During his tenure as Director of Technology, which began in 2011, Mr. Tromblee has helped to significantly improve the District’s technology infrastructure and capacity. He has overseen the 1:1 Chromebook Initiative, worked to integrate learning technology such as Google Classroom, and been an integral part of developing and expanding MakerSpaces in each of the six schools.
“Michael has done very good work for us over the course of his six years as Director of Technology,” said Superintendent Dr. Peter Giarrizzo. “He has always been an outstanding advocate for our students and has had a profound impact on the District. We wish him well in his new position.”
