Pelham Students Inducted Into Music Society
The Pelham Memorial High School chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society recently inducted 29 new members.

From the Pelham School District: The Pelham Memorial High School chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society inducted 29 new members at a ceremony held on Thursday, January 9 in the auditorium. The honor society recognizes students for their musical talent, achievement and service to others.
This year’s induction ceremony featured several musical performances, including “Prelude” (Rachmaninov) by Emily Nakayama on piano, “The Star Spangled Banner” (Key) sung by Morgan Jenkins, “Rondo in G” (Mozart) by Mark Tarazi on Violin and Isaac Blackburn on piano, “You’ll Never Walk Alone” (Rodgers) sung by Malia McLellan with Isaac Blackburn on piano, and “Concerto for Two Violins” (Vivaldi) by Albert Ai and Sophie Xu on violin and Isaac Blackburn on piano.
The event also featured remarks by Tri-M Advisor Dr. Michele Zanky, PMHS Principal Jeannine Clark and a keynote address by Nancy Torrente, Zone Representative for NYSSMA.
