[PHOTOS] Pelham Memorial HS Celebrates 45th Reunion

Members of the Pelham Memorial High School Class of 1967 gather this weekend to celebrate and share memories.

For the Class of 1967, forty-five years has passed like the blink of an eye. A blink that included marriages, births, divorces, and countless other milestones, even deaths.

Of the 202 members of the graduating class, reunion organizer Joe Gallello said about 54 are returning with spouses and significant others for a weekend of events and reminiscing.

Very few of the classmates still reside in Pelham, Gallello said. The person travelling farthest will be coming in from Washington State and others are arriving from Florida, New Hampshire and California as well as Westchester County and upstate York. "We should have a nice turn-out and cross-section of the class," said Gallello.

In addition to an informal gathering this evening, the group will meet tomorrow for a tour of their alma mater and a friendly softball game. The highlight of the weekend will be a reception at Saturday night.

No doubt high school will seem like just yesterday when the group gets together to compare notes on family, career and adventures. The group will also share memories of their classmates and teachers who have passed away. Check out some of the pictures in the photo gallery.
