The film's director, Victor Levin who grew up in NYC and Rockland County, will be at the Pelham movie house following the showing.

The Picture House (TPH) will present a special advance screening of the film 5 to 7 (R; 95 mins.) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, three weeks ahead of its nationwide debut on April 23, organizers announced. Following the screening, the film’s director Victor Levin will answer questions during a post-film discussion moderated by the movie house’s Critic-in-Residence Marshall Fine.
Levin, who was born in New York City and raised there and in Rockland County, New York, wrote Dramatic Publishing Company’s Death in Scarsdale while a student at Amherst College. He has since gone on to a prolific career writing for film and television, and is perhaps best known for his work on the NBC television series Mad About You. Outside the Manhattan St. Regis Hotel, aspiring young writer Brian (Anton Yelchin) first meets Arielle (Bérénice Marlohe), the sophisticated wife of a French Diplomat. Though she’s older, married, and the mother of two, Brian can’t help but be drawn to her and the two begin a cinq-a-sept affair. It’s a clash with his traditional values and his parents (Frank Langella and Glenn Close) can barely handle the news, but Brian couldn’t be more smitten. As the two fall deeper in love, Brian begins to wish for more than just the hours of five to seven and soon the two must face the most significant decision of their lives. 5 to 7 is an emotionally powerful debut from writer and director Victor Levin, who shows how hard you will fight for love when the odds are stacked against you.
5 to 7 debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival and has since been featured at a number of festivals including the Hamptons International Film Festival and the Palm Springs International Film Festival, among others.
