PMHS Basketball Team Attends Pride Of The Court Event
PMHS boys' basketball team and members of the PMHS Gay Straight Alliance attended.
PELHAM, NY - From Pelham Union Free School District: The Pelham boys' basketball team attended a "Pride of the Court" event last week at Sarah Lawrence College. The event featured guest speaker Chris Mosier, an American transgender advocate and triathlete who competed for Team USA's sprint duathlon men's team in the 2016 World Championship, making him the first known trans athlete to join a U.S. national team.
Proceeds from the event will be given to the Hudson Valley Chapter of the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education (GLSEN).
