PMHS Finishes In 4th Place At Forensic Speech Tournament
Senior Alexandria Tiso and sophmore Ben Glickman earned full qualification to the New York State Championships this spring

From PMHS: The PMHS forensics speech team had a season best fourth place finish at the Emily Clemente Memorial Tournament held at Ursuline School in New Rochelle on Saturday, Dec. 3.
Senior Alexandria Tiso finished 2nd in Original Oratory and sophomore Ben Glickman placed 3 rd in junior varsity Extemporaneous, earning both a full qualification to the New York State Championships this spring.
Also performing well were seniors Kate McLaughlin and Halle Tirsch, who earned 5 th place and honorable mention respectively in Oral Interpretation. Sophomore Athena Woodfin placed 3 rd in junior varsity Oral Interpretation and sophomore Lucy Bischof finished 6 th in Declamation.

Sophomore Violet Massie-Vereker previously qualified for the state championships, which will be held at Hofstra University, following her 1 st place finish in Declamation at a tournament held in November.
