Rain may be more widespread in the mid- and northern Hudson Valley than at the southern end.

Here's what the National Weather Service says about the weekend in southern Westchester:
- Friday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 76. East wind around 10 mph.
- Friday Night: Showers likely, mainly after 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 61. East wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
- Saturday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before noon, then showers and thunderstorms likely after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 76. East wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
- Saturday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely before 10pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 10pm and 2am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. Southeast wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
- Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. West wind 5 to 9 mph.
- Sunday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65.
