Roadwork to Close Portions of Hutchinson River Parkway May 27-June 4
Maintenance work is scheduled for Eastchester, Harrison, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Pelham, Rye Brook and Scarsdale. Expect Delays.

Motorists traveling on the Hutchinson River Parkway through Westchester beginning Tuesday, May 26, should expect delays in some spots during the day while road crews perform maintenance, the state Department of Transportation announced.
Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on May 26 through June 4, crews will alternately close single lanes through Pelham, Eastchester, Mount Vernon and New Rochelle.
Southbound lanes will be closed between Exit 18 (Mill Road) and Exit 7 (US Route 1/Boston Post Road) Tuesday, May 26, and Monday, June 1 through Thursday, June 4.

Northbound lanes will be closed between Exit 7 (US Route 1/Boston Post Road) and Exit 16 (Webster Avenue) from Wednesday, May 27 through Saturday, May 30. Weekday closures will occur between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and Saturday’s closure will occur between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Beginning Wednesday, May 27, portions of the Hutch in Rye Brook, Harrison and Scarsdale will be closed through Monday, June 1.

On May 27 and May 28, the southbound left lane from Exit 30 (King Street) to Exit 23 (Mamaroneck Avenue) will be closed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
On Friday, May 29, and Monday, June 1, the northbound left lane from Exit 23 (Mamaroneck Avenue) to Exit 30 (King Street) will be closed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Drivers may experience delays on the days of construction.
Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.
Additionally, DOT reminds motorists that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
