Saw Mill Dental Practice Collects Candy for U.S. Troops

Members of the practice participated in the donation program called Operation Gratitude for military troops serving overseas.

The dentists and team members at Family Dental Group gave our troops serving overseas a reason to smile. For the fourth year in a row, team members in Brewster, Fishkill and Yonkers collected candy as part of Operation Gratitude.

Family Dental Group encouraged Girl Scout Troops, Boy Scout troops, church groups, school groups, and other community organizations to collect candy after Halloween and bring it to one of its affiliated practices for shipment.

Family Dental Group collected 43 pounds as its location at 1620 Route 22. Collectively, the dental offices shipped over 4,450 pounds of candy to the troops this year, and more than 12,000 pounds of candy since it began participating in Operation Gratitude in 2013.
