ShopRite Still Offers Bag Rebate

Stop and Shop stores in southern Westchester no longer give customers money back for reusing shopping bags.

The supermarket chain recently decided to end the rebate in many of its Westchester County and Connecticut stores.

Affected in the area around Pelham were the stores in New Rochelle, Yonkers, Eastchester and Mount Vernon.
