Tickets On Sale for PMHS Sock'n'Buskin Performances Of 'Fools'
Pelham Memorial High School's Sock'n'Buskin presents Neil Simon's FOOLS.

PELHAM, NY - From Pelham Memorial High School: Neil Simon’s hilarious comic fable tells the story of Leon Tolchinsky, who is ecstatic to be starting his teaching career in an idyllic Russian village in 1891. However, upon arriving in the village, he finds people doing things that can only be described as, well, stupid.
It turns out that the town has been cursed with chronic stupidity for 200 years, and Leon's quest is to break this curse. However, he doesn’t know that if he stays over 24 hours and fails to break the curse, he too will become a victim of the curse!
In explaining the choice of Fools as the fall production, Sock’n’Buskin moderator Tom Beck said, “Mr. Schleifer and I read a dozen comedies over the summer, and this one made us laugh out loud! Yet, it also has poignancy proving without a doubt that Neil Simon is a master storyteller.”
