Time To Register Your Kindergartener In Pelham

PELHAM, NY — It's almost time to register children for next year's kindergarten class in the Pelham schools. A registration event will be held Jan. 28 and 29.

In Pelham, a child is eligible to attend kindergarten next year if he or she will be 5 years old on or before Dec. 31, 2020.

At the event, the Central Office Registrar and a school nurse will be on hand to accept completed registration forms and provide the necessary information needed to successfully register your child.

It is not necessary for you to bring your child with you to the registration.

However, it is essential that all parents/guardians attend the registration in person, present the
completed registration forms and bring all original documents with them.

In fact, some forms must be notarized. To avoid delays in your child’s registration, have them notarized prior to the registration event.

Registration forms received by mail will not be accepted.

All registration forms can be found on the district website; click on the PARENTS & COMMUNITY tab and then REGISTRATION OF STUDENTS tab.

Hard copies of all forms can be obtained from the Central Office as well.

Remember to complete all the appropriate health forms. In accordance with New York State Law, children entering public schools must be immunized.

Registration will take place in Alumni Hall, located on the ground floor of Pelham Memorial
High School.

Any parent/guardian who cannot be present on their designated day may make an
appointment with our Registrar, Charisse Donnadio, at (914) 738-3434 ext. 1211. Unless prior
arrangements are made, exceptions will not be made to the following schedule:

TUESDAY, JANUARY 28, 2020 – COLONIAL and HUTCHINSON SCHOOLS
Last names beginning A-L 9:00 am – 12 p.m.
Last names beginning M-Z 1:00 pm – 3 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29, 2020 – PROSPECT HILL and SIWANOY SCHOOLS

Last names beginning A-L 9:00 am – 12 p.m.
Last names beginning M-Z 1:00 pm – 3 p.m.

Use the entrance to Pelham Memorial High School at 575 Colonial Avenue.
