WEATHER UPDATE: Flood Advisory Issued for Westchester County
With heavy rains beginning to hit some areas of the region, the National Weather Service is alerting residents.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory Wednesday afternoon for southeastern New York, including the Hudson Valley and southern Westchester County.
The NWS previously issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the county for today, but the agency updated it just before 3 p.m.
The Flood Advisory is in effect until 5 p.m., as heavy rains are expected in a relatively short amount of time.
