We'll let you know what the weather will be like each day this holiday weekend and how temps will be rising again next week.

Amazing is really the only word needed to summarize this Labor Day holiday weekend forecast for Westchester County.

Nothing but sunshine, warm temps during the day, cooler at night, and only a slight chance of rain today but none through Thursday of next week. At some point we’re going to need a soaking rainstorm as the region is in a moderate drought.

“We’re looking at a 4+ day stretch of absolutely gorgeous, late summertime weather,” writes Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. “We’ll start off with very low humidity over the weekend… so temps in the 80s will feel absolutely fantastic. As we approach Labor Day, the humidity will increase a touch… but the humidity doesn’t get really elevated until Tuesday. So a nice, sunny… hot, but rather comfortable Labor Day appears likely.”

Saturday night will be clear with temps clocking in at around 60 degrees.

Sunday features more sun and temperatures will be about the same, in the low 80s. At night, the temps will be in the mid 60s.

On Labor Day itself, more sun and temperatures will creep into the high 80s, and when we return back to reality on Tuesday, you guessed it more sun, and temperatures again in the upper 80s. More of the same for Wednesday and Thursday, too, with a slight chance of rain on Thursday thrown in.

Have a great and safe holiday weekend.
