WEATHER UPDATE: Several Chances for Some Storms this Week
We'll let you know when to expect some unsettled weather, and how the work week's forecast is looking.

The back-to-work week weather forecast appears to be an unsettled one that begins with a hot and steamy day on Monday in Westchester County.
Temperaturs Monday will hit the low- to mid-90s in the region, with a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. The chance of unsettled weather is about 20 percent.
After Monday, we’re not expected to hit 90 degrees again for the rest of the week with high temperatures sinking into the low 80s by the weekend.

“Some clouds will mix in during the afternoon hours, and while someone could see a very localized PM thundershower… the vast majority of us remain dry on Monday,” writes Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. “We’re going with a forecast high of 95°… and if that verifies, it would tie the record for the date. Any higher than that… and we’ll set a new record. Something we’ll be watching for sure.”
On Tuesday, it will be a mix of sun and clouds and there is a slight chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm with temps in the mid to upper 80s. The precipitation chance again is just 20 percent.

More clouds than sun again on Wednesday, and there is another chance for a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon.
Thursday and Friday’s weather forecast as of Monday morning seems the most unsettled with a 40-50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on both days. It’s expected to be cloudy on both days.
And it’s a week away, but the initial weekend forecast looks great with sunny skies and temps in the low 80s.
Have a great week!
