Weekend Weather Forecast for Pelham Includes Chance of Showers, Thunderstorms

We could wish that today’s forecast in Westchester County is what we’d end up with for Saturday.

Before we get to the weekend though, we’re looking at a picture perfect weather day on Friday with sunny skies and temps around 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday kicks off the weekend with possible early morning showers and thunderstorms, and then it will be mostly warm and cloudy for the remainder of the day.

“But our next real chance for rain looks to be Monday night and Tuesday… as a front pushes through our area again,” writes Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

Sunday shapes up to be a lovely day with high temperatures in the upper 70s.

“High pressure will begin to exit… but as it does, warm air will push into the Hudson Valley once more. Not as warm as last week… but highs this weekend should still flirt with 80°,” Potter added.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 49. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Friday Night: A slight chance of showers between midnight and 3am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. South wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. Southwest wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 77.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 69.

Monday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 68. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52.
