Winter Coat Weather: Thanksgiving Update

Coldest we’ve seen. That’s what to expect at the beginning of the work week.

“This stretch of cold air will be a shock for many as much of November has been mild and well above average,” said Brett Rathbun, AccuWeather.com Meteorologist. “This will make the outdoor air feel even colder than it actually is.”

Temperatures will struggle into the low 40s on Monday and Tuesday -- and at night, they’ll be at or below 30 degrees, according to Hudson Valley Weather.

As the week progresses, temperatures will rise. Expect to see the low 50s on Thanksgiving Day.

“The remainder of the holiday week looks perfect for travel and not bad for temps,” writes Hudson Valley Weather’s Bill Potter. “We will see a small moderation in temps each day as we head towards the end of the week with temps maxing out in the upper 50’s by Friday. For the weekend temps begin to slide back down once again.”
