Work on the Hutchinson Parkway In Pelham Starts Monday

PELHAM, NY — Motorists are advised that the right lane on the southbound side of Hutchinson River Parkway, between Exit 12 (East Lincoln Avenue) and Exit 8 (Sanford Boulevard), is expected to be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Crews will be performing construction activities, weather permitting.

Expect delays. Also, use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
