Work Week Weather: Cooler as the Week Progresses
It'll feel pleasant and more like spring later this week in and around Pelham.
Temperatures will be much cooler today, albeit with high humidity throughout much of Westchester, according to the National Weather Service. And though we’ll reach the mid- to high-70s on Tuesday, temps will dip again as the week progresses.
If we get any rain (and the Hudson Valley needs it!) it’ll be tomorrow, according to Hudson Valley Weather.
“The warmth that overspread much of the Northeast this past weekend will not last through the week,” writes Kristina Pydynowski, Senior Meteorologist at AccuWeather.com.

Here’s the NWS forecast for the communities in Westchester:
Today: A slight chance of showers before 11 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with highs in the low- to mid-60s. East wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: A chance of showers and thunderstorms between 9 p.m. and midnight, then a chance of showers after midnight. Areas of fog after midnight. Otherwise, cloudy, with lows around 55. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Tuesday: Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 9 a.m. Areas of fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with highs mid-70s. South wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tuesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with lows around 55. Southwest wind 7 to 9 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 67. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 49.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 53.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 51.
