Work Week Weather: Rain Today and Tuesday, Some Sun the Rest of the Time

It's a bit of a mixed bag weather-wise in Westchester County this week.

Even though the heaviest rain fell early this morning, we’re still not out of the woods as showers, thunderstorms, and fog are possible through late Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Fog may also impact Tuesday’s morning commute.

The NWS had issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for counties in the Hudson Valley, including Westchester, for a chance of minor flooding from the heavy rains this morning. But that alert was eventually canceled as the morning wore on.

Monday afternoon and evening could see a continuation of the rain, and Tuesday could, too, according to Hudson Valley Weather’s Bill Potter.

“The storms appear likely to be very scattered… and few and far between,” Potter writes. “Tuesday looks similar in some ways to Monday. Clouds will hold pretty tough, and we’ll run the risk of some afternoon showers and storms.”
