With 55 years in the Ellsworth Hose Company and decades in county service, his leadership and dedication left a lasting impact on local public safety. 
• Syracuse Man Arrested For Felony DWI In Benton (fingerlakesdailynews.com) — Penn Yan police first alerted Yates County deputies after a man allegedly left a domestic incident in the village while intoxicated, leading to a felony DWI arrest in Benton. Deputies stopped the Syracuse driver on Preemption Road, noted signs of intoxication, and say he refused a chemical test before being taken to the county jail for arraignment.
