• Students Explore Apple Farming Through Virtual Trip (farms.com) — Full Circus Farm in Pine Plains just hosted a virtual apple-farming tour that connected nearly 2,200 students across North America with local growers. Farmers Mark Stonehill and Miriam Goler walked classes through orchard science, horse-powered methods, and sustainable practices, with one more statewide session on apple processing coming up June 4.
• Burlesque Returns to Pine Plains for One Night of Sword Swallowing, Acrobatics, and Mischief (thedailycatch.org) — Pine Plains residents can catch a one-night-only Roundtop Burlesque Revue at the Stissing Center this Saturday, featuring sword swallowing, aerial acrobatics, and comedy. The adults-only show also showcases the Center’s new stage infrastructure and ongoing renovations funded by a major state arts grant, part of a broader push to diversify programming for local audiences.
