PLAINVIEW, NY — PopUp Bagels is coming to Plainview, according to the new storefront signs.
A "coming soon" sign on 353 S. Oyster Bay Road in the Plainview Shopping Centre, between European Wax Center and Massage Envy, showed the iconic bagel shop's arrival in the future.
PopUp Bagels has a rip-and-dip policy with their bagel-and-schmear spreads. It's a franchised chain based in Connecticut, with expansion plans.
The chain has 30 locations nationwide, with only two currently open on Long Island in Roslyn and Garden City.
Its menu focuses on classic bagels, cream cheese, and butter, with the idea of gripping, ripping, and dipping the bagel into schmear.
