The Manes Foundation Adult Cultural Center at the Mid Island Y JCC invites the community to explore the art of fused glass during a special beginner-friendly workshop, Fused Glass – Pocket Vase.
Led by artist Kelly Schulte-Smith, participants will discover the magic of firing glass at high temperatures in a kiln while learning the basics of this beautiful and creative technique. All supplies are included, and each participant will create their own unique fused glass pocket vase. Projects will be available for pick-up at a later date once they have been fired in the kiln.
