Cops: Man Wanted in Plainview Dry Cleaners Burglary

An image of the man was captured on security surveillance in September, police say.

Nassau County Police seek the public’s help in identifying a man they say is connected with a burglary in Plainview that occurred in September.

Police say that on Friday, Sept. 26, at about 3:15 a.m. the man’s image was captured on security surveillance inside the Pampers Cleaners at 505 Plainview Road. The man unlawfully entered the premise, damaged property inside, and stole money before fleeing the scene by unknown means.

Earlier that morning, a dry cleaners in East Meadow was burglarized, and a stolen van used as a getaway vehicle was later found in Plainview, according to authorities. Police would not say whether the two burglaries were related.
