UPDATE: The early morning blaze drew close to 100 first responders from around 11 agencies, including nine fire departments, officials say.

PLAINVIEW, NY — A woman became trapped inside of a home blaze in Plainview early Saturday morning and perished, Nassau County Fire Marshal Michael Uttaro said in a news release.

Uttaro said it took about 75 firefighters from nine different departments to extinguish the flames at the "ranch style" home.
