New Images of Plainview's Veterans
UPDATE: All week, we'll be compiling an archive of Plainview-area veterans uploaded by our readers or sent directly to Patch. Check out the latest contributions from our readers.
On weekend we honor those men and women who served our country in the armed services.
Patch just received some great photos from Paul Feller, formerly of Plainview, of his father, Sgt. Sol Feller, a medic with the Army Air Corps during WW II. There's a great shot of Sol and Paul's mom during the war years. We share them here.
Another family uploaded great shots of Marine Sgt. John S. Cleary, including one that showed him with his two brothers in uniform..

This is a way to keep alive the names and images of the many brave Plainview residents who have served their country so valiantly in our defense. Remember, photos of all veterans, regardless of the war, are welcome to send in their photos, even family photos dating to the Civil War or WW I.
