Michael Magro Foundation Presents Third Annual Men's and Women's Hicksville High School Lacrosse Alumni Event

Looking for something to do on Thanksgiving Day Weekend? How about coming down to Hicksville High School’s turf field to enjoy a rousing game of lacrosse - or three!

On Saturday, November 29th at 11 am, The Michael Magro Foundation will present their Third Annual Men’s and Women’s Hicksville High School Lacrosse Alumni Event. Since it’s the holiday weekend, many alumni will be in town; three years ago, the first game was played, everyone had a great time, and the rest, they say, is history!

Registration sign-in for the event will start at 11 am. At noon, the men’s recreational alumni lacrosse game will begin; the women’s alumni lacrosse game begins at 1. Two p.m. will herald the start of the men’s alumni lacrosse game; during the sporting event, refreshments will be made available for purchase, along with raffles and a 50/50. Commemorative t-shirts for purchase will also be made available throughout the event.

The $50 donation for all alumni participating includes a lacrosse pinnie, which will be distributed at the event. A $25 donation for Hicksville High School students and members of PAL also includes a pinnie.

After the event, a post-game party will be held at Mio Posto. Raffle pulls will be announced, as well as the winner of the 50/50. A free buffet will be available for players and spectators, with a cash bar as well. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate in a great day for a wonderful cause, as well as to meet some of our wonderful local talent.
