Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Sept. 22 to Sep. 29.
Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Plainview area over the past week as reported by police:
- Sept. 9: A man reported that someone stole packages off his stoop on Beverly Road in South Farmingdale.
- Sept. 19: It was reported that someone stole merchandise from JC Penney at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
- Sept. 21: An unknown person stole a black 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Searington Drive in Syosset.
- Sept. 21: An unknown person stole a pocketbook and a car jack from an unlocked car on Townsend Drive in Syosset.
- Sept. 22: An unknown person stole a red 2015 Ford Mustang on Calvin Avenue in Syosset.
- Sept. 23: A broken window was found at a home on Terminal Drive in Plainview.
- Sept. 24: A woman reported that someone stole her pocketbook while it was left unattended on a bar stool on Main Street in Farmingdale.
- Sept. 24: Someone stole a box of t-shirts left unattended outside Living Hope on Old Sunrise Highway in Massapequa.
- Sept. 25: Someone reported that an unknown person stole assorted change from their unlocked car while it was parked on Conde Lane in Massapequa.
- Sept. 26: Someone reported that an unknown person stole money and a pair of headphones from their car while it was parked on N. Utica Avenue in North Massapequa.
- Sept. 27: A 25-year-old Copaigue man was arrested on Merrick Road and Carman Mill Road in Massapequa for possession of marijuana.
- Sept. 27: A 19-year-old Massapequa Park man was arrested on N. Chestnut Street in North Massapequa for possessing marijuana.
