New Toddler Arts and Crafts Classes For Tobay Residents

Parent of two, three and four year olds, take note.

The Town of Oyster Bay is offering a toddler’s arts and crafts program for residents and their children at two town facilities.

Registration for the toddler arts and crafts program begins Monday, Sept. 22 at the Town of Oyster Parks Department recreation office, Town Hall South at 977 Hicksville Rd, in Massapequa from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Space is limited. All applicants must provide a tax or utility bill, or both, to validate proof of Town of Oyster Bay residency along with a birth certificate. There is a $20 application fee for each child.

The program runs from Oct. 21 to Dec. 23 and will be held at either the Town of Oyster Bay Ice Skating Center Community Room in Bethpage Community Park, at 1001 Stewart Avenue or the Marjorie R. Post Park Community Room at Unqua and Merrick Roads in Massapequa.

Parents will choose one class per week, per child. According to the town website:

Classes for each week include Tuesdays at Marjorie Post at 10 a.m. (two-year olds only) or 11 a.m. (Ages 3 and 4), Wednesdays at TOB Ice Skating Center at 10 a.m. (two year olds only) or 11 a.m. (Ages 3 and 4), or Thursdays at TOB Ice Skating Center (Bethpage) at 10 a.m.(two year olds only) or 11 a.m. (Ages 3 and 4).
