Long Island Divorce Solutions has developed a strategic coaching program to address the needs of divorcing parents. Vicki Vollweiler, founder of Long Island Divorce Solutions experienced her own divorce back in 2012. She discovered an unserved need to help people plan and prepare for both their own as well as their children’s futures so that once the divorce stipulation is signed, they are able to lead the best life possible.

The definition of a divorce coach, as defined by the American Bar Association is: “A flexible, goal oriented process designed to support, motivate and guide people going through divorce to help them make the best possible decisions for their future, based on their particular interests, needs and concerns.” With the help and guidance of a Certified Divorce Coach, it is possible to reduce the amount of time spent with the attorney and to use that time more efficiently as well as make better decisions that will save you money in the long run.

As a divorced parent herself, Vicki understand the difficulties associated with the separation from a partner and the ensuing conflict, the desire for your children’s happiness, the loss of financial security, and the need for organized thoughts and rational thinking during this extremely difficult time.

As a Certified Divorce Coach, she serves her clients by being their guide, sounding board and thinking partner. Through discussion, clients are able to set goals and strategically plan the steps needed to see the desired results for all facets of their divorce. In addition, as it pertains to the business side of divorce, she is able to assist with the development of budgets, gathering the many financial documents that are needed and offer referrals to other professionals based each individual’s own unique situation.
