Question of the Day: Fall Back?
Early Sunday morning we change the clocks back. Why did we change them in the first place?

So-called "Daylight Saving Time" ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, meaning we, in this part of the world, turn our clocks back one hour. It is said we get another hour of sleep. (Europe, in theory, has been sleeping in another hour now for a week.)

Daylight isn't really being "saved" in the process. It's all pegged to the artificial, man-made ever-ticking creature we call "time."
