ā¢ Plattekill orders noise review for proposed dog rescue facility (timeshudsonvalley.com) ā Plattekillās Planning Board is pausing a decision on a proposed Great Pyrenees rescue and kennel on Allhusen Road until an independent acoustical expert reviews projected barking noise. Board members, responding to months of neighborhood concern, also plan a site visit and further scrutiny of fencing, outdoor dog numbers, and daily operations before ruling on the special use permit.
