• Killer of 20-year-old in Pleasant Valley sentenced to 20 years behind bars (nydailyrecord.com) — A Dutchess County judge has sentenced 54-year-old Thomas Case to 20 years in prison, plus five years post-release supervision, for the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Anthony Cuozzo in Pleasant Valley. The conviction followed a 2024 Rawls Road confrontation where both men were injured, and local first responders, including Pleasant Valley Fire Department EMTs, tried to save their lives.
