2 Mount Pleasant Arrests In New York State Police Weekend Sweep
State Police in Troop K said they removed 25 impaired drivers from the roads during the weekend of Sept. 15.

MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — New York State police from Troop K charged 24 drivers with DWI and other crimes over the weekend of Sept. 15. Among them were two arrests in Mount Pleasant.
On Sept. 16, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Kyron K. Nicome, 38, of Jersey City, NJ, for DWI. He was traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway in the town of Mount Pleasant when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
On Sept. 16, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Amanda A. Deagan, 25, of Cortlandt Manor, NY, for DWAI Drugs with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony. She was traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway in the town of Mount Pleasant, when she was involved in a two-car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by drugs, police said.
