9A Lane, Shoulder Closures Saturday in Mount Pleasant, Greenburgh

Pay attention to flaggers and traffic control devices.

MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — Right lane and right shoulder closures on both northbound and southbound sides of Route 9A are expected between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. May 6.

Crews will be performing maintenance activities, weather permitting.

The right lanes, between Lawrence Street and Holly Road in Greenburgh, are expected to be closed, and the right shoulders, between Dana Road and Pleasantville Road in Mount Pleasant, are expected to be closed.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
