Abinanti: I Stand With Planned Parenthood

Women have not just a constitutional but an inalienable right to control their own bodies and choose for themselves which medical procedures they will undergo. I am “pro-choice” – against government interference with women making their own medical decisions.

We must not let a small band of Congress members – mostly men – hold the entire country hostage in their extortionate attempt to impose their religious beliefs on all women in the United States.

They are targeting Planned Parenthood because it has been the most successful in reaching out and meeting the healthcare needs of women throughout the country – especially in places where there are no other women’s health care facilities available. It is actually a tribute to Planned Parenthood’s success.

We must send the message loud and clear that the overwhelming super-majority of United States residents supports choice in healthcare and we will not let this small group of radicals subjugate American women.
