Adele Markisz, Briarcliff Manor Resident

Adele Markisz, a resident of Briarcliff Manor, died Friday, Oct. 24. She was 99.

Markisz was born Dec. 6, 1914, in Camden, N.J., to Nicholas and Johanna (Milan) Karol.

Markisz is survived by her sons, John and Robert; two grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Susan. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Anthony.

The funeral mass was scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 at St. Augustine’s Church in Ossining with the interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Queens.

Dorsey Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
