Miyabi has also secured a liquor license and will be serving specialty drinks during its daily lunch and dinner hours.

On Thursday evening, Pleasantville's Architectural Review Board approved Lin's proposed signage, which will feature an orange backer panel with letters outlined in black set on red LED illuminations.

"It seems like a pretty well-considered sign," said Chairman Bjorn Slate.

Lin said he has designed the restaurant to be "very affordable" and is looking forward to finally opening soon.
