Astorino to Deliver 'State of the County' Wednesday

The event is free and open to the public.

Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino will deliver his 2015 State of the County Address Wednesday, April 22, in White Plains, his office announced.

The speech is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Central Jury Room of the County Courthouse, 111 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in White Plains. The event is free and open to the public.

Details of the speech were not yet available, but among the topics Astorino will likely discuss is the recent deal he helped forge for a $25 million investment in Rye Playland.

Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. Those wishing to attend should allow adequate time to get through the building’s security. All guests need to be seated by 6:30 p.m. The speech will be aired live on News 12 and FiOS1 News.
