BHS Enjoys a 'Gold Sweep' at NYSSMA
HS & MS Choral Director, Music Theory Instructor & K-12 Performing Arts Department Coordinator Dr. John Banks remarks, "Truly exemplary!
BHS ensembles completed an exciting season with an excellent showing including wonderful feedback from state adjudicators at 2018 New York State Music Association (NYSSMA) Majors Festival.
Awards were:
BHS Chorus – “Gold” (level 5)
BHS Band – “Gold with Distinction”! (level 4)
BHS Chamber Orchestra – “Gold” (level 6)
BHS Concert Band - “Gold with Distinction” (under the direction of Mr. Tartell and Mr. Toland)
HS & MS Choral Director, Music Theory Instructor & K-12 Performing Arts Department Coordinator Dr. John Banks remarked, “Truly exemplary! We thank students and teachers for their hard work and this amazing ‘Gold Sweep’ of 2018. A hearty congratulations to all!”
