BHS Student Art at the Katonah Museum of Art

Artwork by 10 Briarcliff High School students will be on display at the Katonah Museum of Art’s YOUNG ARTISTS: A High School Art Exhibition from February 10 - March 3.
The opening reception is on Sunday, February 10, 3 - 5pm.
As described by the Katonah Museum of Art, “Now in its 36th year, this annual exhibition of senior students' artwork gives aspiring artists an opportunity to participate in all aspects of a museum exhibition. With the guidance of professionals, the young artists organize, publicize, curate and install their own exhibition.”
Visual Arts K-12 Coordinator Roxanne Ritacco, said, “The is a highly anticipated event for my classes each year and I am delighted to have so many of my students included in the Katonah Museum of Art Senior Show this winter.”
Briarcliff students exhibiting are: Harsha Philip, Hug Me, I’m Scared (Oil On Paper); Sophie Jelinek, Don’t Lash Out(Oil On Canvas) NOT PICTURED; Colby Cho, La Casa Naranja(Oil On Canvas), Letitia Chen, Swaddled In Ignorance(Oil On Paper), Sarah Albert, Alone In Company(Oil On Board), Sarah Dolgin, A Hunger For Revolution(Watercolor); Anna Albert, The Realist And The Hopeless Romantic(Oil On Canvas); Daniel Deng, Endurance: The Personal History Of My Grandfather & The Personal History Of My Great Aunt(Oil On Canvas); Regine Navarro, The Positive/Negative Space Of An Umbrella(Photo, Graphite); Julia Orientale, The Great Gatsby(Lino Print On Collage) NOT PICTURED.
