Forty Briarcliff High School students were inducted into the Rho Kappa Social Studies National Honor Society on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. In a ceremony held after school, Principal Diana Blank and Social Studies teachers Laura Gualtiere and Stephanie Buatti acknowledged the dedication of the candidates and awarded them their official certificates.

Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society is the only national organization for high school juniors and seniors that recognizes excellence in the field of Social Studies.

“Our Rho Kappa chapter provides national recognition for our outstanding students and encourages an interest in, understanding of, and appreciation for social studies,” Ms. Buatti said. “Each of the inductees exceeded the requirements for membership, which include superior work in social studies classes as well as avid participation in school or community service. The accomplishments of the new inductees demonstrate the qualities of industry, initiative, and reliability set forth by Rho Kappa. Congratulations to all new inductees!”
