Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester to Benefit from Grand Opening of Jersey Mike's Subs
Mount Kisco location to open Nov. 12; free subs given with minimum $1 donation to the Club

The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester (BGCNW) will receive a donation through a fundraising campaign hosted by Jersey Mike’s Subs, opening its newest location November 12 at 25 South Moger Avenue in Mount Kisco. From November 12 through 17, customers can redeem coupons for a free regular sub with a minimum donation of $1 to the BGCNW.
Jersey Mike’s, a fast-casual sub sandwich franchise with more than 1,300 locations open and under development nationwide, believes that making a sub sandwich and making a difference can be one and the same. Jersey Mike’s offers a sub above, serving authentic fresh sliced subs on freshly baked bread – the same recipe it started with in 1956. The Mount Kisco location is the first in Westchester County and is owned by franchisee Brian Egan, who also operates a Ridgefield, CT location.
A company-wide practice, Jersey Mike’s partners with local organizations for each location’s grand opening as a way to show its appreciation for the communities they enter. Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country have raised nearly $10 million for worthy local charities and have distributed more than 750,000 free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.

Egan recognizes the BGCNW’s important role in providing recreational activities, educational and cultural programs to children and teenagers throughout Westchester. “We feel that it is important to give back to the communities that support us,” Egan said. “The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester is a worthy recipient for the role they play in positively impacting the lives of hundreds of youth here in Mount Kisco and beyond each year.”
Prior to November 12, Jersey Mike’s representatives will distribute up to 10,000 coupons at local businesses for free regular sub sandwiches, which can be redeemed in exchange for a minimum donation of $1 to the Club. A donation box will also be placed at the register of Jersey Mike’s throughout the five-day campaign.
