Boy's Predicament Closes Mount Pleasant Pool

Part of it must now be reconstructed.

MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — Mount Pleasant officials issued a notice to residents Thursday saying that the town pool is closed for repair until further notice.

The repairs are due to an incident late Wednesday afternoon.

A boy's finger got stuck in a drain and a four-foot section of the pool had to be cut away, according to The Journal News.
