Briarcliff Alumni Return to Share Wisdom with Current Students
The alumni spoke at a panel organized for high school seniors.

Briarcliff High School alumni returned to the school on Nov. 26 for the second annual Alumni Career Experience event.
The workshop for high school seniors focused on how the graduates’ careers affect the world. Alumni also spoke about how their experiences at BHS affected them later in life.
Alumni Abby Jablansky, who works at Exxon Mobil and Frank Romano, who now works at Google were among the 13 alumni who shared their experience.

Following the panel, students broke into groups with the alumni to discuss their post-high school plans and ask questions. The alumni provided insight into the world after high school and reminded students not to hesitate to ask for guidance in high school, college and in their future careers.
“I thought it was helpful to see how everyone got to where they are today,” Senior Ryan Smedley said in a press release released by the school. “I learned what I think I want to do now might not be what I actually end up doing – that is comforting.”
