Briarcliff Businesses Stay Open Late for Summer BBQ

Locals come out for the third First Thursday...Night Lights.

Businesses along Pleasantville Road in Briarcliff Manor—even a real estate office—stayed open late on Thursday for the Chamber of Commerce's third First Thursday Night Lights event.

With an All-American Barbecue theme in mind, the street was lined with merchandise for sale, the smell of freshly grilled food and the musical stylings of Mike and Miriam Risko of the Ossining-based Mike Risko Music School.

Businesses stay open until 8 p.m. the first Thursday of each month (through September), promoting specials and giving locals the chance to meet up and explore what the village has to offer.
